The Wealthy Bums

Now many people in the world know what it is like to be poor, hungry, unemployed, and stressed out because the burdens of life keep piling up. You can thank the coronavirus for this, or curse it out.  It does not matter which choice—the message was sent.  Because of this widespread eye opener, there needs to be a wholehearted effort to end homelessness and other poor living conditions that cause despair.  If the lawmakers are not going to do it, then they need to be voted out or forced to quit their jobs.  The next time you pass a vagrant or person who is dealing with socioeconomic issues, you should think about what you endured and try to do something to help them.  Even if it is only saying hello to them without some shitty attitude.

The local, state, and federal governments need to start passing laws that put money into decent housing, employment, food, healthcare, and assistance for other personal necessities for homeless people and others at the low end of the social ladder.  We are in an election year, start shining like the star that you are and demand legislation that helps the lower classes in our society.  If you do not think it is necessary, think about what you went through—or are still dealing with—when the almighty death flu hit your town.  Think about what help you would want—or need now—because you are not rich!  If you still come to the conclusion that there should not be any laws or protections for those in serious need, you are a serous prick.

The money is there and so are the resources, it is only a matter of configuring a solid safety net for people who need the help.  Moreover, the argument about people abusing a well produced social welfare system is bullshit.  There are methods that can be done to ensure that people are not simply taking handouts so they do not have to work.  If fact, we already do this in the United States, we just do not do it good.  Other modern nations have established systems that help homeless people and other people experiencing hard times and have had amazing results.  What is it about Americans and them not wanting to help each other?  Why are we the nation that is viewed as a bunch money-grubbing whores with everything?  The majority of people in the country are not wealthy or doing as great as they could be.  But the one percent is.  What do you think?  Do you think about this shit at all?
