The Three Stooges
This piece focuses on
three retired New York State Troopers who have performed illegal and very odd
behaviors. William Curtin, Charlene
Mahony, and John Reinholz – all of which are adjunct instructors in the field
of criminal justice – have been engaging in peculiar activities ever since they
entered the field of academia. Most of
the illegal and strange behaviors have been conducted against their
students. Specifically, all three of these
so-called state police officers are performing unnecessary background checks on
their students, observing their out-of-school activities, and causing problems
in their lives simply because they are bored and enjoy seeing students’
reactions to their unusual tendencies.
Moreover, none of these illegal and strange behaviors are centered on
employment recommendations or other law enforcement hiring procedures, they
simply are just weird people who abuse their leftover resources because they
find it entertaining. Thus, this piece
will describe the behaviors by each of the three retired state police officers/adjunct instructors and, in
turn, allow readers to comprehend the unusual behaviors so that they hopefully
are no longer able to occur.
John Reinholz
As mentioned
above, John Reinholz is a retired New York State Trooper. He took an early retirement because he was
not liked by the New York State Police and was informally told to go away as
soon as possible. Because of this, he
had to find a new form of employment because his salary was not large enough to
live off of comfortably for the rest of his “retired” life. Reinholz entered the world of academia to
give himself a new profession and reputation, yet his newly acquired livelihood
was merely a front for him to spy on his students in many formats. More specifically, John Reinholz runs all the
names of his student roster just for fun through his colleagues at the New York State Police. These background checks are more than looking
at criminal records – which most students do not have. What is being done is the viewing of his
student’s family members’ background, their financial history, places of
employment, neighborhoods they live in, and even what types of recreational
activities his students and his family members enjoy participating in. Once more, this is being done illegally and
without any form of employment opportunity being processed. Reinholz is simply nosy and, apparently, has no life. Additionally, Reinholz
creates phony social media profiles and trolls his students’ profiles to see
what they are up to and tries to learn what their real thoughts are about his
teachings and other postulations. There
is no justified reason for doing this and Reinholz consistently denies these activities
even after many students have called him out on the strange behaviors.
Charlene Mahony
Charlene
Mahony has a similar background as John Reinholz. She retired earlier than most state police
officers do and entered the world of teaching because she needed to earn money
to support herself and her family.
However, Mahony takes her weird undercover work a bit further than John
Reinholz. Being more precise, she
actually goes to her students’ workplaces to check them out, as well as learns
about what they do in their free time.
This is done through illegal work by her other state trooper friends who
are still employed by the agency. Mahony has her previous
coworkers capture text messages and Facebook postings so she can learn about what
they are interested in other than criminal justice information. This is strange given the fact that she could
do this without the undercover spying by her friends with the New York State
Police. Furthermore, Mahony has an anger
issue and every time one of her students calls her out about the odd behaviors
she performs more strange behaviors that compensate her superego. Specifically, Mahony will threaten her
students with negative attention from the legal system and removal from their program if they continue to speak about the unlawful and odd behaviors that she engages
in. Many students adhere to the
extortion that she presents because of the fear that is created by Mahony, which,
obviously, allows her to carry on with her strange activities because of the lack of
intervention by any authority figures.
William Curtin
Bill
Curtin is probably the smartest of the bunch, yet he disregards any
intelligence that he has acquired by teaming up with the two above-mentioned adjunct
instructors/retired state police officers.
He has a law degree and knows many people who work in the criminal
justice profession, yet he still participates in dumb activities and learns
what his students do in their free time through clandestine maneuvers rather than
simply trying to speak to them directly.
Moreover, Curtin believes that he is performing favors to the community
by undergoing his unusual and illegal undercover operations. Elaborating further, Curtin has expounded how
there is an informal justice system and it is law enforcers’ job to ensure that
the best of the best enter the legal profession – but his beliefs are conducted
in terrible and illegal fashions. Nevertheless,
Curtin also uses his legal connections to spy on his students and learn all
about them. He routinely calls his previous coworkers and other professional colleagues to glean what each of his students are all about.
In conclusion, the three
adjunct instructors/retired state troopers are performing very strange and
illegal behaviors toward students and their families. It has been confirmed that they have no
significant ties for employment procedures for the New York State Police or additional
law enforcement agencies, nor are they participating in any activities about
internal policies at the institutions they work at. Again, these individuals are simply
participating in these processes for their own unusual amusement and have no
credible justification for abusing their connections that they have acquired. All three individuals seem to have some understanding
of an informal justice system and that they are leaders and necessary
components of providing justice in this unheard of informal justice
system. Until actual law enforcement intervention
occurs, there may not be a change in these odd behaviors by the three
individuals.
