Second-Wave Feminism and 21st Century Perceptions

The functionality of second-wave feminism lasted longer than most social movements in the United States.  That is, as the call for equal rights in a free country routinely comes about, second-wave feminism still is everywhere in our society, and its momentum and power can still be felt. This conveyance of female rights is attributed to the "bitches" from the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and the 2000s -- second-wave feminism didn't die when third-wave feminism was created or coined as a new term/era.  Yet, unusual occurrences in jurisdictions all across America have started to trump the girl-power movement that started in the 1960s.  Chastising females for their anatomy, reproductive rights, and professionalism (essentially the right to be free and have a life that is not intruded upon by opposing viewpoints) has stirred the pot and manufactured conservative beliefs that are in opposition to all of the hard work that feminists established; particularly the rights that are encompassed within second-wave feminism.  Social activist organizations are still fighting the cause (being able to be a women without being jerked around), but not in the aggressive manner that the "bitches" of the 1960s somehow developed.  Fuck that shit.  Stand up for your rights, ladies.  These recent and intrusive events should empower the millennials, especially female millennials, to conjure, think, and protest shitty policies regardless of where they're imposed.  Don't let the bullshit ideas and religious fundamentalists create a perception that is intrusive and dumb for our generation, or the future generations.  I feel obligated to mention (especially after hearing people discuss pro-life policies) that even if abortion is entirely eliminated that there will be future generations of people with similar points of view as mine and the feminists--fuck off, pro-lifers and women haters.  I'm pro-choice, support female rights (all rights), and I have a penis.

With all of the advancements that have been made in the United States in the last five years, there is no reason why second-wave feminism should not have another outburst that goes all the way to the Whitehouse.  The LGBT community said "fuck off" to everyone who disagreed with their innate characteristics and they made it to the Supreme Court and had a verdict rendered in their favor--this was done with a bench that has numerous well-known conservative justices on it.  Voices can be heard; make it happen, ladies.  Again, don't let shitty laws turn you into a criminal or deviant when you believe that you should have free rights and the ability to utilize your rights without being deemed as an inferior creature!  If someone tells you that you should be smarter with your lifestyle, make sure that you say the same thing right back to the idiot who opened his/her mouth and dumped their menial brain into the air.

Millennial perceptions are of the utmost liberal, but we still have blowback from dorks who think that they can speak for everyone and have their standards interjected into our soon-to-be country. When it comes to public figures talking about banning equal access to feminine-based services we have a serious problem going forth.  Twenty-first century perceptions should not be guided or construed by some pompous asshole who is most likely middle-aged or older and has no desire to create public policies that actually help people.  Obviously there are people who are middle-aged or older and are not unsupportive dickheads, so, don't think all of the previously mentioned people are against you/us.  Case in point, take control of your rights, take control of your future, take control of the criminals who suggest that feminism and equal rights for women should not be condoned.  Do all of these things in a positive and mature manner and second-wave feminism will be something that is difficult to ignore!
